Southern England is being buffeted by gale force winds and torrential rain, neither of which is good for dachshunds. We are now snuggled up under a pile of blankets, on the sofa and are determined to snooze through all the nasty weather. What else can a dachsie do?

Tell your Mom to keep those blankets coming! Hibernation sounds good to me too! Here in New England we are having a couple of nice days but I know that winter and that Nasty 4 letter word (starts with an s) is coming just around the corner.

No s*** here yet Ludwig…..just rain, rain and more rain. Luckily we don’t get much of that nasty white stuff, but we all know that getting wet paws is nasty enough.
We have lots of blankets to keep us warm, and if it is particularly nasty, then she lights a coal fire for us. We have her well trained, don’t we?
Keep warm Ludwig, and enjoy all the turkey you can get today.
